Foodmax Machines designed an automatic sauce bottle filling solution for a condiment manufacturer in Saudi Arabia. The chili sauce bottle filling machine solution focused on filling viscous chili sauce containing solid particles at a target capacity of 650–700 kg/h. It was designed to improve filling consistency and reduce manual handling during bottle packaging.

Client’s Challenge for Chili Sauce Filling
A Saudi Arabian condiment producer needed to modernize and automate its packaging process for a flagship chili sauce product. Filling sauces with solid particles presents unique technical hurdles that traditional liquid fillers cannot reliably handle:
- Particle Suspension: Solid particles settle quickly, causing uneven taste profiles and inconsistent dose weights across bottles.
- Dripping & Contamination: Viscous, particle-heavy sauces tend to string and drip, messing up bottle necks and seals.
- Throughput Efficiency: The client needed a steady 650–700 kg/h output across an 8-hour shift while minimizing manual intervention and equipment footprint within their existing factory floor layout.
Our Automatic Sauce Bottle Filling Solution
Foodmax Machines configured an automatic servo piston filling machine for the customer’s chili sauce. The filling system is designed around the product’s viscosity and solid particle content. An agitated hopper helps maintain more even particle distribution during filling, while servo piston control provides adjustable filling volume. The filling machine can also be integrated with bottle feeding, capping, and labeling equipment for a more automated bottle packaging process.
Why This Bottle Filling Machine Fits Chili Sauce
Servo Piston Filling
The servo piston filling system is suitable for viscous sauce applications. We can adjust the filling parameters based on the product and bottle specs.
Agitated Hopper
The agitator in the hopper helps keep solid particles evenly distributed throughout the sauce during filling.
Anti-Drip Filling Nozzles
Anti-drip nozzles help reduce sauce dripping after each filling cycle and keep the bottle mouth cleaner during production
SUS304 Product Contact Parts
The product-contact components are made from SUS304 stainless steel for sauce filling applications.
CIP-Compatible Design
The filling system supports CIP cleaning to simplify cleaning of the product-contact system.
Automatic Sauce Filling Process
1. Bottle Infeed
Empty bottles enter the filling system through the automatic bottle feeding section.
2. Bottle Positioning
Bottles are conveyed and positioned for consistent filling.
3. Chili Sauce Filling
The servo piston system fills the viscous chili sauce into each bottle. The agitated hopper helps maintain particle distribution during filling
4. Filled Bottle Output
Filled bottles continue to downstream capping and labeling equipment when included in the packaging setup.
What Is the Project Status
Foodmax Machines completed the customized filling system design based on the customer’s chili sauce characteristics, target capacity, and bottle requirements. The project focuses on the bottle filling stage. Foodmax can integrate capping and labeling machines to meet the customer’s packaging needs. Our engineers will adjust final settings during installation based on the actual sauce and bottle specifications.
